Data.kb.se publishes information from the National Library's data sources. The material is primarily intended for those who want to carry out major analyses, processing or develop their own services. Most of the material can be downloaded as raw data in open standards.

From Libris to the Devil's Bible

The sources on Data.kb.se cover a wide range of subjects.

Some examples:

• authority data from the national library catalogue Libris
• older maps
• phonograph recordings from the turn of the 20th century
• a selection of digitised newspapers
• the medieval manuscript Codex gigas (The Devil's Bible)

How to search

The service allows you to search either individual works or datasets (collections of works). When you do a free-text search directly from the startvpage, you search all the metadata for all individual works. To search among datasets, you need to select it before searching. The search will then return all metadata describing existing datasets.
