Copy and photograph

Many of the items from the collections may be copied or photographed unassisted. In other cases, you may use the Library’s reproduction services.

Reproduction services

Our reproduction services can help you obtain copies and reproductions. A fee is charged for the production itself, as well as for any administrative costs and postage. You can order everything from simple paper copies to photographic prints. Digital files are, of course, also available to order.

Taking photos with a camera or mobile phone

Photography with your own camera (for private use) is done at your own risk in accordance with the Swedish Copyright Act (1960:729) regarding copyright in literary and artistic works.

You are permitted to take photos and film for private use in the library’s public areas, provided this does not disturb other visitors.

Please note that it is not permitted to photograph, record, or download materials from the audiovisual collections.

Self-service copying

On the ground floor there are three book scanners dedicated to copying any material which you have borrowed from the Information and loans desk, or material shelved in the reference collection.

You may either print the documents or save them as files on your own USB-stick.

Keep in mind that materials to be read in the Special Reading Room cannot be scanned on your own. Ask the staff for assistance.
