Since January 1, 2021, there is a one year pilot agreement which gives researchers affiliated to participating organisations unlimited open access publishing in BMJ Gold OA Journals, and open access publishing of 70 articles in BMJ Standard Collection Journals. It is expected to cover participating organisations total publishing during 2021. The agreement also include full access to read the BMJ Standard Collection Journals.

The agreement has been well received and appreciated by participating organisations.

During 2021 there are 22 organisations participating in the agreement.
