Creative Commons FAQ for researchers

The National Library of Sweden has produced an information page for researchers about Creative Commons licenses and how they can be used for publishing research results open access.

As national coordinating body Länk till annan webbplats. in the work towards a transition to open access to scholarly publications, the National Library reported five studies to the Swedish Ministry of Research and Education in March 2019. The report called "Monitoring of compliance with open access policies and mandates" recommended that "a practical guide about Creative Commons licenses should be produced".

The information page that the National Library publishes today is a contribution to this recommendation. It provides facts about Creative Commons licenses and answers the questions that researchers might have when publishing research results open access.
