In KB Digitalt you can search among thousands of digitised pictures and texts from the collections of the National Library. Most of it is free to use.

KB Digitalt brings together all the digitised picture and text material available at the National Library. Here you can explore Sweden's cultural heritage!

The material spans from the 11th century up to today and includes a wide range of formats. The service includes, among other things:

Free to use – with some exceptions

Most objects in KB Digitalt are copyright-free, which means you can use them however you like – for research, teaching, or your own projects. However, there are exceptions – items marked Begränsad åtkomst (Limited Access), are part of collections that are not copyright-free. You may not use these without securing the rights yourself.
