Welcome to the National Library

The National Library of Sweden is open to the general public. At our location in Humlegården park, you may make a request to borrow prints, manuscripts, maps, images, posters, and gain access to television and radio broadcasts, music, films and other multimedia.

Our facilities include reading rooms for silent reading of our collections as well as a number of designated areas for viewing microfilm, audiovisual material etc. We also have a restaurant, Sumlen, and a café, Kafé Valfrid.
