Reprographic Services

Copies and reproductions

Order Copies

You may not borrow or make copies of materials in the Swedish Collection or other fragile materials. Instead, you must hand in the material to Reprographic Services and order copies. Reprographic Services is located next to the Information and Circulation Desk. You may also order copies of material you are reading in the Special Reading Room. Submit the order to the Special Reading Room Desk.

If you know what pages you want copied from a particular work, you may order the copies directly from Reprographic Services and do not have to request the work first.

We can provide everything from ordinary paper photocopies to photographic reproductions supplied as photographs, slides, or digital image files (high-resolution, TIFF or JPG). We will sometimes refer you to other libraries or suggest other options. In some cases, we will need to discuss the suitable reproduction method or use a different original.

Making Copies Yourself

You may duplicate foreign material printed in 1900 or later and materials on open access shelves in the Reference Library. Photoduplication cards can be purchased and refilled from the machine next to the Information and Circulation Desk. You can also use the photoduplication card to make printouts from microfilm in the Microfilm Reading Room.
