This refers to the cost of acquisitions of non-electronic, scholarly books and journals. The reported cost (Swedish official library statistics), however, includes the cost of all acquired non-electronic materials.

Administrative costs
There is no complete record of the total administrative costs associated with scholarly publishing. This report includes the number of annual work units (AWUs) spent on managing APCs and electronic acquisitions at HEIs. These administrative tasks are deemed central to the transition to an OA scholarly publishing system.
