Visit us only if you must
Due to new restrictive guidelines, the National Library is only open for pre-booked appointments.
We all need to cooperate to lower the infection rate. We are open for pre-booked visits, but only for those who study our collections. At the moment, we are asking you to consider postponing your visit or take part of our material online. The library is closed for tourist visits and as a place for general studies.
Dialogue about booking
Each booking is made in dialogue with a librarian. Contact email@example.com, or call 010-709 30 30 at 16.00 at the latest (Monday–Friday) to book your visit. When you contact us, we will assess your need to visit the library.
The visit can take place the next weekday at the earliest. The timing of your visit will depend on the number of other visitors and how long it takes to procure your material. We book visits Monday through Friday 10.00–16.00, Wednesdays to 19.00.
Your booking is personal, meaning you cannot send someone else or bring anyone with you. Please stay at home if you're feeling unwell.
KB is open weekdays for requests for public documents from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. Please contact the registry in advance for help
