How to get to the National Library
The National Library of Sweden is open to everyone. You are welcome to visit us at Humlegårdsgatan 26, in central Stockholm.
Public transport
The nearest subway stations are Östermalmstorg (the red line) and Hötorget (the green line). Several buses stop at Stureplan, which is the closest stop to the National Library. Plan your trip using SLs travel planner

Parking
There is limited availability of parking next to the Library. There are two parking places dedicated to visitors with a parking permit for handicapped, within ten metres of the main entrance. Please use dedicated parking places in nearby streets and parking houses.
The collections of the National Library held at other sites
Parts of the collection of the National Library are to be found at other locations than at Humlegården.
Medieval letters and rare prints can be found at the Rogge Library in Strängnäs, a diocese and secondary grammar school library.
The part of the newspaper collection which has not yet been microfilmed or digitised is available to read in the depot library in Bålsta (Statens biblioteksdepå). Please book your visit to Bålsta in advance.
