Exhibition loans

The National Library of Sweden may lend works from its collections to other libraries, museums, galleries or other collecting institutions for the purpose of exhibition.

An institution wishing to borrow an exhibit must fulfill our general terms and conditions as well as all safety and handling requirements. An exhibition loan fee is always charged.

Loan procedures

Before proceeding with your loan application, you need to read and accept the National Library's general terms and conditions for exhibition loans.

General terms and conditions

Continue your application by completing the form below and send it to the National Library for a first evaluation.

The completed application must be received by the library no later than 12 months before the exhibition is due to open.
