Ephemera

Find Your Way Around

Parts of the ephemera collection are searchable in our online catalog Regina. The catalog also includes brochures (monographic publications) and certain categories from the older collections before 1970. These items include children’s books, military ephemera, items related to charitable organizations, letters of condolence, and printed business documents.

You can search the card database (Uncataloged Printed Material Index) at the Information and Circulation Desk for categories, subject headings, and abbreviations.

The Swedish Trade Calendar includes information about the companies that manufactured particular products during a particular period. The calendar also provides an overview of the relevant industries.

Request Ephemera

You may request ephemera manually on a form for Reading Room loans and hand it in at the Cirkulation Desk. Specify your request and all known information such as publishing institution, time period, etc. If you find the publication in Regina, it can be requested.

Loans and Photocopies

You may study ephemera in our Reading Rooms. Older material from before 1900 and printed materials that require special supervision must be read in the Special Reading Room. We deliver ephemera according to the National Library's general delivery times. It may take longer to process more extensive requests. Reprographic Services can photocopy printed material for you. Prices and delivery times are available from Reprographic Services.
